                                                                                     FINANCIAL MEETING   

The Poland Township Board of Trustees held a Financial meeting February 2, 2022 at the Poland Township Government Center located at 3339 Dobbins Road Poland, Ohio.

Mr. Ungaro opens the special meeting.

Mrs. Metzinger led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mr. Scharville calls roll call. Mr. Ungaro, Mrs. Wollet and Mr. Kempers were present.

Mr. Scharville announces the reason for this meeting is to discuss the spending of the Covid money.

This meeting was properly advertised in the Vindicator.

Mr. Canter explains the money can be used wherever there is a revenue loss. The timeline is still the same for having the money spent by December 2024.

Chief Wilson expresses his interest for the telephone upgrade from Armstrong. Upgrading includes CAT6 wiring instead of the standard telephone line.

Mr. Flicky discussed his list he submitted with the trustees about possible items for the park.

Laura Fox from the Poland Historical Society asked the trustees if they are eligible for any Covid money and do they still have to show any revenue lose. Mr. Canter explains any organization will have to show a revenue reduction to be eligible. This is also first come first serve.

Mr. Connor O’Halloran from Poland Fire Department at Station 92 discusses the need for additional ambulance. Expresses to the trustees about how it would benefit the EMT services along with stats on calls received.

Mr. Ungaro motions to adjourn the meeting at 6:02 p.m. Seconded by Mrs. Wollet. Voting yes- Ungaro, Wollet and Kempers. Motion carried.
