July 1, 2014—SPECIAL MEETING
 
The Poland Township Board of Trustees held a special meeting on July 1, 2014, at 10:05 a.m. at the Poland Township Government Center located at 3339 Dobbins Road, Poland, Ohio. The purpose of this meeting was to go into executive session in order to discuss union contracts. The news media was properly notified.

Chief Goodin lead everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance

Trustee Ungaro motioned to open meeting at 10:05 a.m. Seconded by Lidle.

Trustee Ungaro motioned to hire Dan Baker as part time officer. This is pending his medical / physical exam. Seconded by Lidle.
 
Ungaro motioned to authorize 2015 Ford Explorer from state wide not to exceed $26,000. Seconded by Lidle.

Ungaro motioned to approve that K‐9 equipment from various vendors not to exceed $11,000. Seconded by Lidle.

Ungaro Motioned to approve $13,000 for Dog & Training at Shallow Creek Kennel. Seconded by Lidle.

Ungaro noted that all funding is by private donators and no money from the general fund is being used.

Ungaro motioned to adjourn at 10:15 a.m., seconded by Lidle. Meeting adjourned at 10:15 a.m.
