Regular Meeting
The Poland Township Board of Trustees held their regular meeting on August 24th, 2016 at the Poland Township Government Center located at 3339 Dobbins Road, Poland Ohio.
Mayor Iuduciani leads in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Administrator Scharville calls roll call. Ungaro, Lidle and Wollet are present.
Administrator Scharville motions to authorize payment for all outstanding checks for the township. Seconded by Ungaro. Voting yes- Ungaro, Lidle and Wollet.
Fiscal Officer Paul Canter is present to give financial report for July 2016. Revenue - $484,453.75 and Expenditures - $374,852.57
Ashley Sullivan, Supervisor of New Middletown Road Department is requesting to purchase old Poland Township signs once Poland replaces them with improved signs. Trustees are in agreement to donate signs depending prosecutor approval for 30 road signs.
Thomas Madej is present to review roof bids, recommends M&J Roofing. Pending contract based on verifying references then a contract will be created.
Administrator Scharville opens discussion to bids for 2016 Resurfacing of Various Road.

Administrator Scharville makes a motion to award a contract to Shelly & Sands for $160,865.50. Seconded by Lidle. Voting yes- Ungaro, Lidle and Wollet.
Wollet makes note that Scharville will be taking 20 copies for East Gate. The3 minute presentation will be help on the next meeting.
Chairman Ungaro makes a motion to accept letter of resignation of Ptl. John Lawson. Seconded by Lidle with regrets. Voting yes- Ungaro, Lidle and Wollet
Scharville goes over bids for tree removal.

Administrator Scharville makes a motion to award contract to Devito Construction for $1,350.00 and not to exceed $1,350.00. Seconded by Lidle. Voting yes- Ungaro, Lidle and Wollet.
Chairman Ungaro makes a motion to request refund for zoning permit #6402 in the amount of $163.00 (Erman L. Algaier III). Seconded by Wollet. Voting yes- Ungaro, Lidle and Wollet
Chairman Ungaro makes a motion to approve Nuisance Notice for Resolution 16:16. Seconded by Lidle. Voting yes- Ungaro, Lidle and Wollet.
Chairman Ungaro makes a motion at 6:35 to adjourn to executive session. Seconded by Lidle. Voting yes- Lidle, Ungaro and Wollet…motion carried.
