The Poland Township Board of Trustees held a special meeting on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at the Poland Township Government Center located at 3339 Dobbins Road, Poland, Ohio.
 
Chairman Lidle called the meeting to order at 6:10 p.m. Ray Beatty led everyone present in the pledge of allegiance. Roll call was taken and present were Chairman Lidle and Trustee Ungaro. Vice Chairman Naples was absent.
 
The purpose of the meeting was to go into Executive Session to discuss health care insurance with Poland Township Union Representatives. The news media had been properly notified.
 
Chairman Lidle moved to adjourn to executive session at 6:12 p.m. in order to discuss health care insurance with Poland Township Union Representatives, legal matters and consideration of the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion, or compensation of one or more township employees, seconded by Ungaro. Voting yes – Lidle, Ungaro…motion carried. Present in Executive Session with the Trustees was Trustee-elect Wollet, Fiscal Officer Granitto, Administrator Scharville, Police Chief Goodin, Zoning Inspector Monus, Road Superintendent Monus and Union Representatives Cathy Stacy, Sergeant Aracich and Ray Beatty.
 
Lidle moved to return to public session at 9:29 p.m., seconded by Ungaro. Voting yes – Lidle, Ungaro…motion carried.
 
There was no action taken.
 
Lidle moved to adjourn at 9:30 p.m., seconded by Ungaro. Voting yes – Lidle, Ungaro…motion carried.
